A look Behind The Glass at Sabre Connect: Sabre’s Digital Switching, Mobile Monitoring and Remote System Controls

Sabre Connect combines an intelligent Digital Switching system with a mobile interface with vessel monitoring and system control capabilities that are designed for the owner operator.  Digital switching offers enhanced simplified connectivity with multiple complex inputs all included in one intuitive system. With many of your onboard electrical systems implemented into the Garmin MFDs, this allows you to control televisions, aft sunshades, underwater lighting and more all on a very clean and easy to operate display!

Remote Monitoring:

The other half of the Sabre Connect System is the ability to monitor the boat remotely. A big value add to the Sabre owners, the system allows an owner to monitor their voltage, bilge pumps, shore power status and tank levels directly from their phone while away from the boat. If a battery dips below the ideal voltage level, or any alarm is triggered, the owner will be notified.

Geofencing:

Sabre Connect is able to GPS Geofence your boat even at anchor from a smartphone or tablet. If the boat is unplugged or moves from the slip, the owner is notified. This Geofence allows you to plot trips on a map and add photos to create a digital trip guide for ease of navigation or to share with friends.

Remote Connectivity:

In addition to keeping an eye on things, Sabre Connect includes “Modes of Operation,” enabling owners to turn multiple switches on or off in one touch of a button. As you arrive to your boat before sunrise, switch on “Night Boarding Mode” to turn on courtesy and salon lights and turn up the heat. Heading out into rough seas? Switch on your Seakeeper from home so it’s spooled up and you’re ready to cast off as soon as you board.

With the digital connectivity throughout the vessel, Sabre has ensured that the system is extremely user friendly and reliable. The remote connectivity allows mobile technicians remote access to the switching in your boat to troubleshoot and reset items if needed. 

Sabre Connect is currently available on all new Sabre 43 Salon Express, Sabre 45 Salon Express, and Sabre 58 Salon Express models, and it will be available on the new Sabre 51 Salon Express, set to debut this fall.
