Dennis Mercer has an extensive background in the marine industry. It started commercial fishing on the family boat as a teen, then the "Great Loop" trip in 1988. Dennis took a break from yachting to join the US Navy, then became a merchant Marine Deck Officer. After attaining a USCG License of 1600 ton Masters (3000 Ton ITC) + Unlimited Mate he put the seabag away to become a Sabre and Back Cove salesman in 2002 and has become an expert in his field over the last 24 years.
