Classic traditional New England design. stable and seaworthy with a broad beam of 8′ 6″. The roomy cockpit can fit up to 8 in comfort. With the centerboard up she draws only 19”. Gaff rig, centerboard, barn door rudder, tiller steering. Hulls and side decks are solid fiberglass with an integral centerboard trunk. Foredecks, and transoms are reinforced. The Sanderling is one of the oldest continuously produced fiberglass boats on the market and Marshall has built over 850 of them since 1962
