Sandy Hook Yachts Returns to Navesink Marina in Sea Bright

April 30, 2026

Sandy Hook Yachts is proud to announce its return to Navesink Marina—our original home in Sea Bright, New Jersey.

While our headquarters remains at Edgewater Marina, this reintroduction of Navesink marks something entirely different. This is not a relocation or a shift in operations. It’s a deliberate return to a place that shaped the company, now with a renewed purpose.

Navesink Marina is being reimagined as a dedicated yacht center—designed to showcase our larger vessels in an environment that reflects the experience of being on the water.

It’s a setting that doesn’t need to be manufactured or staged. It already exists.

A Legacy Built on the Water

Long before expansion into new markets and new brands, Navesink Marina was where Sandy Hook Yachts built its foundation.

That legacy is rooted in the vision of its original owners, Bill Bergin and Hank Hartmann, who established something far greater than a brokerage—they built a community.

Over the decades, generations of boaters passed through these docks. Families returned season after season. Customers became friends. And the experience of buying and owning a boat became something personal.

That history still lives here.

And bringing Sandy Hook Yachts back to Navesink is a way of honoring it—not just preserving it.

A Space Reimagined

Today, Navesink Marina becomes a one-of-a-kind yacht center within the Sandy Hook Yachts footprint.

This location will focus on larger vessels from:

Set directly on the Shrewsbury River, Navesink offers something that cannot be replicated elsewhere—the ability to experience these yachts exactly where they belong.

On the water. At the dock. In motion.

This is where walkthroughs feel different. Where first impressions carry more weight. Where the connection between client and boat happens naturally.

The Team at Navesink

A location with this level of history deserves the right people to carry it forward.

Leading the presence at Navesink Marina is Ken Stromsland, a Rumson local and Director of Sabre and Back Cove for Sandy Hook Yachts. With deep product knowledge and longstanding relationships within the boating community, Ken brings a level of experience that aligns perfectly with the caliber of yachts showcased at this location.

Joining him is Hank Hartmann, returning to the very place where it all began. As an original co-owner of Sandy Hook Yachts, Hank’s presence at Navesink represents a direct connection to the company’s roots and the values it was built on.

Together, they create something unique—an intersection of legacy and experience, guiding both longtime clients and new boaters through the next chapter of Sandy Hook Yachts at this historic location.

More Than a Return

For many in Monmouth County, Navesink Marina has always been more than a marina.

It’s a landmark. A meeting place. A starting point for time on the water.

Bringing Sandy Hook Yachts back to this location is not just about expanding our presence—it’s about restoring something meaningful to the community that has supported us for decades.

Looking Ahead

Growth has taken Sandy Hook Yachts to new places, new markets, and new opportunities.

But the foundation has always remained the same.

Returning to Navesink Marina is a reminder of where that foundation was built—and an opportunity to continue building on it in a way that feels both familiar and new.
